Winsor And Newton Galeria Flexible Modelling Paste is a lighter-weight modeling paste for use on canvas (to minimize sagging). Finely textured with a soft sculptural consistency, suitable for building multiple layers. Matt finish. May be over- painted. Color may be added directly to modeling pastes (note that color will become lighter and more ‘chalky’ and the resulting paste with have reduced body).
It can be used straight from the pot and has perfect “tooth” for film adhesion, it can also be thinned with water for the best application. To reduce absorbency and to boost the integrity of the film a minimum of two coats is required if working with oils.
