Pony has developed this auxiliary needle with a v-shaped bend, which gives you more control over the stitches in the purl waiting. The knitting needle is made of aluminium, the needle is therefore nickel-free. In addition, aluminium is a very light material to work with.

When knitting cables, you put half of the stitches on the auxiliary needle and let them wait either in front or behind the piece. If the stitches wait in front of the piece, the twist turns to the left. If the stitches wait behind the piece, the twist turns to the right.

When knitting cables, start by moving half of the stitches onto the cable needle. Then knit the other half of the stitches in the purl. Finally, knit the stitches on the purl.
